Xuesong Song
Mr. Song is the founder and a Principal at Chum, where he is responsible for principal investment and corporate advisory transactions. He is also Chairman of ChinaGrowth North Acquisition Corporation and Executive Vice President of Business Development of ChinaGrowth South Acquisition Corporation, two companies publicly listed in the U.S. Mr. Song is also Chairman of Jinqiaotong Enterprise Development Corporation Ltd. Prior to founding Chum, Mr. Song gained substantial experience in investment and operations by holding positions with various Chinese companies such as Vice President with ZZNode Holdings Ltd., and Deputy Executive President with China Resources Investment & Management Co. He received an M.B.A. from Oklahoma City University/Tianjin Program and a B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Civil Aviation University.
Michael W. Zhang
Mr. Zhang is a Principal at Chum, where he is responsible for principal investment and corporate advisory transactions. Mr. Zhang is also Chief Executive Officer of ChinaGrowth South Acquisition Corporation and Chief Financial Officer of ChinaGrowth North Acquisition Corporation, two companies publicly listed in the U.S. Prior to Chum, Mr. Zhang gained rich experience in finance and operations by holding positions with companies globally such as a Principal with Global Vestor Capital Partners LLC in New York, an Investment Professional with Avera Global Partners in San Francisco, an Investment Manager with a wealth family in Shanghai, a founder and CEO of IQBay Technology Inc. in Shanghai, and an investment banker with Deutsche Bank Securities in Chicago. He received an M.B.A. from Yale University and a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University.
Tiezhu Zhang
Mr. Zhang is a Principal at Chum, where he is responsible for principal investment and corporate advisory transactions. Prior to joining Chum Capital, he was a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, responsible for and specializing in mergers and acquisitions, private placement and public listing of Chinese companies. Many completed transactions led by him were listings in the U.S. stock markets. Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, David was an Investment Director at Technology Ventures, a venture capital firm focusing on Technology industry in Greater China. Mr. Zhang holds a Chinese CPA license and a Chinese Attorney license. Jin Shi
Mr. Shi is a Principal at Chum. He is also Chief Executive Officer of ChinaGrowth North Acquisition Corporation and Chief Financial Officer of ChinaGrowth South Acquisition Corporation, two companies publicly listed in the U.S. Mr. Shi has gained rich entrepreneurial and operational experience in healthcare sector by holding positions with various companies such as Chairman of Shanghai Raychem Industries Co., Ltd., Chief Executive Officer of Yihua Investment Co., and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PharmaSource Inc. in the U.S. Prior to founding PharmaSource, Mr. Shi was with Tianjin Pharmaceuticals Corporation. He received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University.
Xiaorong Qu
Ms. Qu is Chief Financial Officer at Chum. Prior to joining Chum, she gained substantial experience in accounting and finance by holding various positions including Vice President with Yanhua Technology Co., Ltd., Manager of Finance Department with Sino Group Company, and Manager of Finance Department with Sino Leasing Co., Ltd.
Xiangdong Liang
Mr. Liang is a Vice President at Chum, who is responsible for portfolio management. Prior to joining Chum, he gained substantial experience in managing state-owned-enterprises and private businesses.
Sophia Yuan Gao
Ms. Gao is an Senior Associate at Chum. Prior to joining Chum, she was a senior auditor with KPMG in Beijing. Ms. Gao received a Master degree in Industrial Economics from the Business School in Renmin University of China and a Bachelor degree in International Insurance from the Central University of Finance and Economics. She is a Chinese Certified Public Accountant.
Ming Lu
Mr. Lu is an Senior Associate at Chum. Prior to joining Chum, he held various positions with Sinopec Beijing Yanhua Petrochemical Company Ltd., including Investor Relationship manager, Secretariat to the Board of Directors and Assistant to the Secretary. Mr. Lu received an M.B.A. from School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, and dual bachelor degrees in Fine Chemical Technology and Management from Tianjin University.
Chantelle Xue Bai
Ms. Bai is an Analyst at Chum. Prior to joining Chum, she studied at the University of Melbourne and received dual degrees in Bachelor of Commerce and the Bachelor of Information Systems. |
